Students have returned and everyone is getting back in the swing of a regular daily schedule.
This week in Art, I am traveling around to the different classrooms, instead of having students visit the art studio, to discuss expectations, rules, and procedures to follow once students officially begin 'specials.' Students are excited to make suggestions for rules for the entire school to follow in the art room as well as to learn more about this year's incentive plan. (Each class will earn a crayon to add to their crayon box for good behavior and hard work . Twenty-five crayons earn a celebration day in art. Each student has a chance to earn a treasure box key each art class. Ten treasure box keys, earned for excellent work and behavior, will open the treasure box for prizes.)
